Click Speed Test

Measure your clicks per second (CPS) over 1, 5, 10, or 30 seconds. Works with touch too, and keeps your personal best on this device.

Click Speed Test — The click speed test measures how many times you can click (or tap) in a fixed window — the classic CPS format. The timer starts on your first click, the counter runs live, and when time is up you get your clicks-per-second score, your fastest one-second burst, and a plain-language rating.

Clicks are counted locally in your browser. Your best score is saved only in this browser's local storage — never sent anywhere.

What is click speed test?

The click speed test measures how many times you can click (or tap) in a fixed window — the classic CPS format. The timer starts on your first click, the counter runs live, and when time is up you get your clicks-per-second score, your fastest one-second burst, and a plain-language rating.

Your personal best per duration is stored in this browser only, so you can chase your own record across attempts without any account.

Besides bragging rights, CPS is a quick sanity check for input devices: a mouse with a failing switch or a laggy touchscreen shows up as a sudden drop in achievable clicks.

How to use it

  1. Pick a duration

1 second for pure burst speed, 5 for the classic test, 10 or 30 for endurance.

  2. Click to start

The timer starts on your first click — every click from then on counts.

  3. Click as fast as you can

The live counter shows clicks and your running CPS until time runs out.

  4. Read your score

You get CPS, your best one-second burst, and your personal best for that duration.

Examples

What good looks like

Typical CPS ranges with a regular mouse click.

Result: 4-6 CPS is average, 7-9 is fast, 10-13 is butterfly-click territory, and 14+ is elite jitter-click level.
