Read the hidden metadata embedded in image files. Most cameras and phones write EXIF data into every photo: camera make and model, lens, exposure settings, ISO, focal length, capture time, and (if location is on) GPS coordinates. This tool shows all of it in one structured panel.
Everything runs in your browser. The image is read with the FileReader API, parsed locally with the exifr library, and never sent to a server. This is the same approach used by professional photo triage tools, with the privacy of a local file viewer.

Drop onto the upload zone or click to pick a file. JPG, PNG, HEIC, TIFF, WebP, and RAW are all read locally.

Read the metadata sections
Tags are grouped as Camera, Exposure & optics, Date & time, Image, GPS, and IPTC / editorial.

Check the GPS warning
If the file contains GPS data, a banner links to the location. Sharing the photo would reveal it.

Use "Copy JSON" or "Download JSON" to save the full metadata for analysis or sharing.
