What is random name generator?

Pick a gender and a region, click generate, and get a batch of realistic first-and-last name combinations. Useful for design mockups, test data, placeholder content, and writing samples.

The names are from curated word lists — no AI, no network calls. The tool is a fast, private way to populate a UI without copying real users' names from somewhere else.

How to use it

  1. Pick a gender and a region

Any / male / female / neutral × 7 regions. The default is "any" for both.

  2. Generate a batch

5-50 names at a time. Click again to regenerate.

  3. Copy what you need

Click the copy button on any single name, or copy the whole list.

Examples

Mockup data for a user list

Need 20 plausible names for a screenshot or a test database? Pick "Any / Any", set the count to 20, copy the list.

Gender: Any, Region: Any, Count: 20

Result: A mix of male, female, and neutral first names from English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Chinese, and Arabic traditions.

Localized sample for a Spanish-language demo

For a Spanish-language UI demo, the names should look Spanish, not a mix. Pick Region: Spanish to get only Spanish first and last names.

Gender: Any, Region: Spanish, Count: 10

Result: Names like "Carmen Ruiz", "Javier López", "Sofía Marín" — all with Spanish first + last names.
