Length is strong evidence: 32 hex characters means a 128-bit digest (MD5 or NTLM), 64 means 256-bit (SHA-256 family), 128 means SHA-512 or BLAKE2b. For the four algorithms Uttir can compute locally, you can hash a known text and compare digests to confirm the guess.
