## About

QRIS is the Indonesian national QR payment standard, built on EMVCo merchant-presented QR. A QRIS payload is a tag-length-value (TLV) string: tag 01 says whether the code is static ("11", customer enters the amount) or dynamic ("12", amount is fixed).

This modifier parses any QRIS payload, lets you change the initiation method, amount, merchant name, and city, then recomputes the EMVCo CRC16-CCITT-FALSE checksum so the modified code remains valid. Everything runs client-side — no upload, no signup, no third-party API.

## How to use

1. **Paste a QRIS payload** — Either scan a QR with your phone (most banking apps show the raw TLV string) or use the example buttons.
2. **Inspect the fields** — The tool shows the current mode (static/dynamic), merchant name, city, amount, currency, and CRC validity.
3. **Edit and recompute** — Change the amount, switch between static and dynamic, or override the merchant name. The CRC is recomputed automatically.
4. **Copy the modified payload** — Paste it back into your QRIS generator, POS system, or banking app to test.

## FAQ

### Will this work with my real production QRIS?

Yes. The modifier only changes fields the merchant controls (amount, name, city, mode). It does not touch the merchant account identifier, so the payment still routes to the right recipient.

### Why does the CRC need to be recomputed?

The CRC at the end of the QRIS payload verifies that the data has not been altered. If you change any field without recomputing the CRC, payment apps will reject the code as tampered.

### Can I send the modified QRIS to a customer?

Yes. The output is a valid EMVCo QR payload with a correct CRC. You can encode it as a QR image with any QR code generator.
