Privacy: The signature is drawn locally, encoded as a PNG, and embedded in the PDF in your browser. No server is involved.

## About

Draw your signature with a mouse, trackpad, touch screen, or stylus. Place it on any page of any PDF. The signature is embedded as a transparent PNG — nothing is sent to a server.

This is a visual e-signature, suitable for casual agreements, internal approvals, and proof-of-review. For legally binding signatures with audit trails and PKI certificates, use a dedicated signing service.

## How to use

1. **Upload your PDF** — The file stays on your device throughout.
2. **Draw your signature** — Use mouse, finger, or stylus. Clear and redraw as needed.
3. **Pick a page and position** — Choose which page to sign and where on the page.
4. **Download the signed PDF** — The signature is baked into the file.

## FAQ

### Is this signature legally binding?

No. This is a visual signature overlay suitable for proof-of-review, internal approvals, and casual agreements. For legally binding signatures you need a PKI-backed signing service (DocuSign, Adobe Sign, etc.).

### Can I sign multiple pages with different signatures?

Currently the tool signs one page per run. To sign multiple pages with different signatures, run the tool multiple times and merge the resulting PDFs.

### Does the signature stay sharp at any size?

Yes. The signature is embedded as a high-resolution PNG, so it stays sharp whether the PDF is viewed at 100% or zoomed in.
