## About

Image Watermark stamps text onto photos — a copyright line, a studio name, DRAFT or APPROVED — with control over position, font size, color, opacity, rotation, and a tiling mode that repeats the stamp across the whole frame.

Unlike the PDF watermark tool, this one works on images for the web and social media. Everything is drawn on a canvas in your browser; the photo is never uploaded.

## How to use

1. **Choose the image** — JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, and AVIF are accepted.
2. **Style the watermark** — Set the text, position, size, color, opacity, rotation — or enable tiling.
3. **Download** — The watermarked copy is saved as a PNG.

## FAQ

### Can I repeat the watermark across the whole photo?

Yes — enable tiling and the stamp repeats in a grid over the entire image, which is the standard pattern for proof sheets and stock previews.

### Can I make the watermark semi-transparent?

Yes — opacity is a slider from 0 to 100 percent, so you can go from a faint ghost stamp to a solid label.

### Can I use my logo instead of text?

This tool stamps text. For logo overlays, the watermark pattern that fits is usually a small transparent PNG composited in an editor.

### Does it watermark PDFs too?

That is a separate tool — Add Watermark to PDF. This one is for JPG, PNG, and WebP images.
